A Year Ago Today: Largest wave ever surfed by a woman by Brazilian Maya Ganeira riding a 73.5ft (22.4m) wave at Nazaré, Portugal

It was pretty wavy when Maya Ganeira broke the record for riding the largest wave as a woman. Surfing is a very dangerous sport, with one wrong move you can end up in the open sea on a current, injured waiting to be rescued. Any person willing to ride a wave more than 10x their height has an immeasurable amount of bravery. To not only be brave enough to go for it but to also be able survive such an endeavor is an accomplishment on its own.

In business there will constantly be waves that you may have to maneuver. Some you crash before you’re ready and others will grow far beyond your expectations. At times you will have to maneuver through life as Maya Ganeria. You must be brave and go for it before it is too late. You also will have to find a safe space and time to exit as well.

What is a recent wave (trend) that you have seen recently, and how long to you believe it will survive?

  1. I’ve seen a variety of trends on Tiktok, such as dancing, makeup looks, and even pranks. With these trends they don’t last longer than a couple of weeks and then a new trend appears all over again.

  2. A couple of trends that ive seen are some tik tok challenges, mostly dancing ones. these challenges dont really last that long.
