Dollar Tree is temporarily halting egg sales due to rapidly rising prices. The avian flu outbreak has caused egg prices to skyrocket, increasing by a whopping 60% since January. With Easter and Passover rapidly approaching, Dollar Tree made the difficult decision to halt sales until later this year.

Though butter prices have also risen by 20%, Dollar Tree will continue to sell butter in select locations.
