On Monday, January 4th, 2021 the NCAA announced that all 67 March Madness men’s games will be played in Indiana including the Final Four. This is being done in order to prevent the premier Men’s Basketball event from being cancelled two years in a row because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Games will be played on two courts inside Lucas Oil Stadium as well as at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Hinkle Fieldhouse, Indiana Farmers Coliseum, Mackey Arena at Purdue, and Assembly Hall in Bloomington. Only one game at a time will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Do you think that this is a good move financially for the NCAA, the players, and the fans? Why did the NCAA choose Indianapolis? Could it be because the NCAA is headquartered in the city?
