Customers from other restaurants will most likely differ their business and begin to eat at Wendy’s to also receive some benefits.
Wendys new fast-food deal promotes customer loyalty. The reason for this is people will download the app. Therefore, people will be prompted to use app for other deals the app may have, ultimately increasing customer loyalty because customer’s feel like they’re getting more for their money.
Wendys new fast food promotion could increase the sales and how many people get the wendys app. Getting the app could influence customers to get more then just the free fries and buy a meal along side it. They could also give out more discounts to make it seem like their getting a good price.
If this finds itself successful in both the increasing loyalty of those who visit Wendy’s as a chain and the profit that it may allow, this could be an absolute change for fast-food in general. Other chains may decide to begin doing something similar, if not for fries, then for some other sort of item on their menus. The competition that might arise from this would be a shock to the global industry as a whole.
