Google is gearing up for exciting changes to its Bard AI tool, starting with a new name – Gemini. This transformation isn’t just about rebranding; it comes with significant improvements and additions. The leaked document reveals that Google is working on enhancing the user interface to make it cleaner and more user-friendly, focusing on reducing distractions and improving readability.
One of the most anticipated features is voice chat integration with Gemini, allowing users to interact with the AI through spoken conversation. Additionally, there’s mention of a premium version called “Gemini Advanced,” akin to ChatGPT Plus, which suggests more advanced capabilities for those willing to upgrade.
Gemini’s integration with various Google apps like Gmail, Maps, and YouTube makes it even more interesting. This means you can seamlessly get things done using Gemini, whether it’s through text, voice, or even images. And for those on Android, a dedicated Gemini app is coming soon.
The release date hinted in the changelog is Feb. 7. Initially, it will be available in English in the US, followed by Japanese, Korean, and English globally (with a few exceptions). Canada is also in for a treat, as it’s finally getting support for this AI tool on the same date……….
