Krispy Kreme doughnuts are coming to McDonald’s | CNN
In a surprising twist to the fast-food and bakery world, McDonald’s and Krispy Kreme have decided to join forces, allowing customers to enjoy Krispy Kreme doughnuts with their McCafe coffee. This partnership marks an exciting move as both companies aim to expand their reach and introduce their products to a broader audience. Starting later this year, McDonald’s will offer three types of Krispy Kreme doughnuts: original glazed, chocolate iced with sprinkles, and chocolate iced “kreme” filled. This announcement sent Krispy Kreme’s shares soaring by over 39%, while McDonald’s shares remained relatively unchanged.
Brand partnerships like this are not entirely new in the fast-food industry. Earlier, Wendy’s introduced Cinnabon to its breakfast lineup to attract new customers and innovate their menu. The partnership with Krispy Kreme could be a strategic move to attract customers back with the allure of a sweet treat. The test phase of this partnership, which began in Kentucky, aims to minimize risks before the nationwide rollout by the end of 2026.
Krispy Kreme’s strategy focuses on expanding its accessibility and doubling its access points through this partnership. The partnership between big companies like McDonalds and Krispy Kreme can boost one another’s standings with their own respective audience along with a whole new companies consumers as well, which puts forth more profit for both parties
As much customer based both companies get separately, I don’t think coming to together is the best idea. Mcdonalds is known for their big mac and good food Same as for Krispy Kreme but some negative thing about companies can negative impact both companies. Also, people would a price comparison to the food be sold during the time of the collab because both companies have been around for a while with that being said I think it’s best for them to be separated.
Mcdonalds will have a lot more profit and McDonalds are more present around the world.
This could bring in a whole new range of customers for both brands and allow them to break into new consumer markets. If successful this could lead to increased sales and be highly beneficial for both companies.
This is a great benefit to both companies. Since crispy cream is selling their donuts to Mac Donald’s, they can make a profit from selling them to mac Donalds as well as get a share in profit from selling to customers, plus since they’re being sold at a massive franchise, they’ll get alot of customers. Mac donalds benefits from getting a new menu item, as well as get more customers since customers will no long have to go to both crispy cream and Mac Donalds to get what they want. They can now just go to 1 location instead.
Both brands could get impacted by making more money and having new customers and the customer benefit by choosing a different type of sweets.
