Tom Nugent, Vice President of Consumer Sales and Service for Verizon, emphasized the company’s dedication to enhancing customer experiences through advancements in Fios technology. Fios TV+ operates similarly to Spectrum’s Xumo Player, streaming TV programming from Fios alongside popular streaming services like Netflix and Hulu. The pricing for Fios TV+ starts at $75 per month, including one set-top box rental, with plans extending up to $119 per month. This is because through cable you can only watch the shows that are on at that moment while on streaming services you can watch whatever you want, whenever you want.

The gradual shift of telecommunication companies towards complete adaptation has been a long-awaited move, expectedly challenging given the established nature of the industry.
