US Coffee Store Number Tops 40,000 | 24/7 Wall St.
The coffee industry in the United States is brewing up success despite the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, there are over 40,000 branded coffee shops across the nation, collectively valued at nearly $50 billion. Another encouraging trend is the amount of time customers spend in coffee shops. According to the World Coffee Portal, 46% of people who visit coffee shop locations stay for up to 30 minutes, which suggests that coffee shops offer more than just a quick caffeine fix.
