Despite investing over $500 million in Canada since 2014, with a significant portion allocated to Quebec, the company has faced challenges related to declining site utilization and production over time. Royer emphasizes Bimbo Canada’s dedication to fostering a sustainable business model aligned with long-term objectives.
In response to the closure, affected associates will receive severance packages, access to personal counseling, and ongoing outplacement services and workshops to facilitate their transition to new employment opportunities.
