Chick-Fil-A and other fast food companies can change what they offer without alienating their consumers by making small changes over time to make sure that customers are okay with the change and that they won’t stop ordering from there.

Companies should never interfere with original menu items or recipes, but instead offer new items such as the Japeño sandwich. It would be less risky to make a new item and it not be a hot, than change the everyday items and lose tons of customers.

This could change their amount of customers. If the consumers don’t like the new change they wouldnt eat there anymore. They could test out if the consumers even notice a difference and whether they like it or not.

They can balance their need of innovation by comparing the customers preferences, by having them eat their original and comparing in to their new recipe. By doing this they can try out their innovation without loss of a mass amount of money.

This could either benefit the company or damage them by losing some of its customer because they might not like the new recipe and if it is working why would they change it.
