This remarkable feat surpasses the lifespans of many popular consumer products, like compact discs and mp3 players, showcasing the enduring appeal of these trucks. Rob Kaffl, director of U.S. marketing and sales for Ford, emphasized that this accolade is a testament to the F-Series’ ongoing growth and success.

In addition to this impressive streak, Ford’s F-Series trucks have clinched what they call the “Truck Triple Crown” for 2023, securing the titles of best-selling full-size electric truck, best-selling full-size hybrid truck, and the overall top-selling pickup truck. Over 700,000 customers chose a Ford F-Series truck in 2023, maintaining a substantial lead over their closest competitor, Chevrolet.

Ford’s commitment to the electric vehicle (EV) market is evident with the F-150 Lightning, introduced in 2022, aimed at competing in the growing EV pickup truck segment. Ford’s long-standing dominance in the truck market impacts the broader automotive industry’s business strategies and marketing efforts by making them work harder and make more creative campaigns. Since Ford is already so well established in the industry and has such a loyal customer base, other automotive truck companies will have to work extra hard to ensure that their products exceed customer standards.
