At just 17, Dorothy Jean Tillman, affectionately known as D, accomplished what many only dream of: earning a doctorate. Yes, you heard that right. While most of us were navigating high school hallways or eagerly awaiting prom night, Tillman was achieving academic feats that astounded even the most seasoned scholars.
Hailing from Arizona, Tillman was homeschooled and embarked on her academic journey with unparalleled dedication. By 11, she had already earned her bachelor’s degree. By 14, she had a master’s degree under her belt. And now, at 17, she proudly holds a doctorate in behavioral health from Arizona State University.
But what’s perhaps even more remarkable is Tillman’s commitment to continuous learning. Despite her impressive credentials, she humbly acknowledges that she’s not done exploring the vast expanse of knowledge. With a thirst for understanding the world around her, Tillman eagerly delves into new fields and endeavors, driven by curiosity and a passion for research.
