Because the superhero genre is getting incredibly saturated with competition its becoming difficult to make a unique superhero film that will resonate with audiences. A reason marvel is failing is because of how interconnected it is. If in order to understand jokes, references, and plot points you have to watch 30 or so films the audience will be bored as it feels like work to watch the films.
Superhero movies are becoming more predictable, which starts to make the marvel series boring. Another reason marvel is starting to fall off is because of how they design their movie you have to watch other movies to understand jokes and more thing which makes it annoying for some people.
